What Is Flash Rush and How Does It Work for Australians?
Flash Rush is the fastest Vietnam eVisa processing option available in 2026 — 30 to 60 minutes, available around the clock including weekends and public holidays. It costs $215 USD for single-entry with the Vietnamese government fee fully included.
When you submit a Flash Rush application through ApplyEvisaVietnam.com, your application is reviewed by the processing team and submitted to Vietnamese immigration immediately — not queued with hundreds of other applications. The team monitors its progress and contacts you instantly if any correction is needed. The approved official eVisa PDF is sent to your email as soon as Vietnamese immigration issues it.
The 30–60 minute window is measured from when the processing team receives a complete and correct application, not from when payment clears. This is why document accuracy matters more on Flash Rush than on any other speed: every correction request costs time you may not have.
When Do Australians Need Flash Rush?
| Situation | Flash Rush? | Alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Boarding in under 90 minutes — at gate now | Yes — apply immediately | No time for anything else |
| At SYD/MEL/BNE/PER, check-in still open | Yes or 1.5 Hours ($185) | 1.5hr if you have 90+ min |
| eVisa rejected — need to reapply today | Yes — fastest reapplication | 1.5hr if flight allows |
| Wrong name on approved visa — need correction | Yes — new corrected visa fastest route | Error correction service ($85) |
| Flight in 3+ hours | Possible — but consider 1.5hr ($185) or 2.5hr ($155) | Save $30–60 with slightly slower option |
What Makes Flash Rush Deliver in 30 Minutes — and What Slows It Down
Flash Rush applications that arrive complete and correct are typically approved and delivered within 30–45 minutes. The three things that slow Flash Rush down — and in worst cases push it past 60 minutes — are all avoidable:
| Error | How it happens | How to avoid it | Time lost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wrong Vietnam arrival date | AU departure date entered instead of VN arrival date | Check booking confirmation, use Vietnam arrival date | 10–20 min to contact and correct |
| Name mismatch | Middle name omitted or name typed from memory | Open passport photo page, type directly from it | 10–20 min to contact and correct |
| Non-compliant photo | Blurry, coloured background, glasses | White wall, face forward, 3–4 shots, sharpest one | 10–15 min to resend |
How to Apply for Flash Rush — 7 Steps, Under 8 Minutes
- Open ApplyEvisaVietnam.com on your phone using mobile data. Telstra, Optus, or Vodafone — not airport WiFi. Select Flash Rush ($215 single-entry, $240 multiple-entry).
- Open your Australian passport to the photo page. Type your full name — surname and all given names — directly from the passport. Include middle names. Every character must match.
- Find your Vietnam arrival date in your booking confirmation. This is the date your flight lands in Vietnam. For SYD/MEL/BNE flights, this is typically the day after your Australian departure. Use this date — not the date you leave Australia.
- Take a white-wall selfie. Plain white background, face forward, no glasses, no hat, sharp focus. Take 3–4 shots, use the sharpest.
- Choose single or multiple-entry. Select multiple-entry (+$25) only if you plan to cross into Cambodia, Laos, or Thailand and return to Vietnam during this trip. Cannot be changed after visa is issued.
- Enter any hotel name in Vietnam and pay by card in USD. Government fee included. No fees on arrival.
- Screenshot the approved PDF immediately when it arrives. Show on your phone at check-in and at Vietnamese immigration. No printing required. No cash required.
Flash Rush vs All Other Options — Australians 2026
| Option | Single-entry | Multiple-entry | Choose when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flash Rush 30–60 Min | $215 | $240 | Under 90 min to boarding |
| 1.5 Hours | $185 | $210 | At airport, check-in still open |
| 2.5 Hours | $155 | $180 | In taxi heading to airport |
| 5 Hours | $125 | $150 | Flight later today |
| 1 Business Day | $110 | $135 | Flying tomorrow — best value |
| Weekend / Holiday | $230 | $255 | Applying Sat/Sun/holiday |
All prices include the Vietnamese government fee. The $30 difference between Flash Rush and 1.5 Hours is worth it only if you genuinely have fewer than 90 minutes before boarding. If you have 2+ hours, 1.5 Hours at $185 is the right call.
FAQ: Flash Rush Vietnam Visa 30–60 Minutes for Australians
Is 30 minutes really achievable for Australian applicants? +
Yes. Most Australian travellers with a complete, correct application receive approval within 30–45 minutes. Full name from passport, correct Vietnam arrival date (not Australian departure date), and a sharp white-wall photo are the three things that make 30-minute delivery achievable. Any correction adds 10–20 minutes.
How much does Flash Rush cost for Australians? +
$215 USD single-entry, $240 multiple-entry. Government fee included. No additional fees on arrival in Vietnam. If your timeline allows slightly more than 60 minutes, the 1.5-hour option at $185 is also available 24/7.
What Vietnam arrival date do I enter on a Flash Rush application from Australia? +
The date your flight lands in Vietnam — not your Australian departure date. SYD, MEL, and BNE flights typically arrive the following calendar day. Perth flights via Singapore may arrive same or next day. Check your booking confirmation for the exact Vietnam arrival date.
What causes Flash Rush to take longer than 60 minutes? +
Three things: wrong Vietnam arrival date (departure date entered instead), name mismatch (middle name omitted or typed from memory), and non-compliant photo (blurry, coloured background, or glasses). Each requires the team to contact you for correction, adding 10–20 minutes per issue.
Can I apply for Flash Rush at an Australian airport? +
Yes. Use mobile data (Telstra, Optus, or Vodafone) — not airport WiFi — at SYD, MEL, BNE, PER, ADL, OOL, or any Australian international airport. Complete the form in under 8 minutes. Flash Rush delivers in 30–60 minutes.
Does Flash Rush work on weekends and Australian public holidays? +
Yes. Flash Rush is available 24/7 including Saturdays, Sundays, and all Australian and Vietnamese public holidays. The government portal does not process on weekends or Vietnamese public holidays. Flash Rush operates independently of the government portal schedule.
Is there a refund if Flash Rush does not deliver in 60 minutes? +
Yes. 100% refund of the processing fee if not delivered within the committed timeframe. Contact us immediately via WhatsApp +84 987121355 if your deadline is approaching.
Do I need to print the Flash Rush eVisa? +
No. Show the approved PDF on your phone screen at check-in and at Vietnamese immigration on arrival. No printing required. Screenshot it to your camera roll immediately when it arrives so it is accessible without internet.
