Vietnam eVisa — Weekend Service 2026
Vietnam Visa on
Saturday and
Sunday —
We’re Open 24/7
Applied on Friday and still waiting? Flying Sunday morning? The government portal is closed on weekends, but our Weekend/Holiday service ($230, government fee included) delivers your approved eVisa before 6PM Vietnam time when you apply before 3PM.
Why Weekends Are a Problem for Vietnam eVisas
- The government portal doesn't work weekends. Applications submitted on Friday evening or over the weekend are not reviewed until Monday morning, Vietnam time.
- The portal has no live support and no urgent option. There is nobody to contact if something goes wrong, and fees paid on the portal are not refunded if payment fails or an application isn't approved.
- Time zones make it worse. A Friday-night application from the US or Europe lands on Saturday in Vietnam, so you can lose two full days before anyone looks at it.
If your flight is on a Saturday or Sunday, or you realise on a weekend that you still need a visa, the weekend service is the route that actually fits your timeline.
Weekend Service Pricing
All fees are in USD for single-entry and include the Vietnamese government fee. Multiple-entry adds $25. Nothing is payable on arrival in Vietnam.
Delivered before 18:00 Vietnam time.
Flying on a weekday instead? Standard and urgent tiers apply Monday to Friday:
| Speed (business days) | Single-entry | Multiple-entry |
|---|---|---|
| 30-60 Minutes | $215 | $240 |
| 1.5 Hours | $185 | $210 |
| 2.5 Hours | $155 | $180 |
| 5 Hours | $125 | $150 |
| 1 Day | $110 | $135 |
| Normal (4-6 days) | $50 | $75 |
The weekday tiers rely on the government portal being open, so they only run on business days. For a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, the Weekend/Holiday service is the one to choose. We offer a 100% refund guarantee if we miss the committed timeframe.
Cutoff Times in Your Time Zone
Apply and pay before 15:00 Vietnam time (GMT+7) to receive your eVisa before 18:00 Vietnam time the same day. The same cutoff applies on both Saturday and Sunday.
| Where you are | Apply before (standard time) | Receive before (standard time) |
|---|---|---|
| New York / Toronto (EST) | 3:00 AM | 6:00 AM |
| Los Angeles / Vancouver (PST) | 12:00 AM (midnight) | 3:00 AM |
| London (GMT) | 8:00 AM | 11:00 AM |
| Paris / Berlin (CET) | 9:00 AM | 12:00 PM |
| Dubai (GST) | 12:00 PM | 3:00 PM |
| New Delhi (IST) | 1:30 PM | 4:30 PM |
| Sydney / Melbourne (AEST) | 6:00 PM | 9:00 PM |
| Auckland (NZST) | 8:00 PM | 11:00 PM |
While daylight saving time is in effect in your location, add one hour to the times above (for example, New York is 4:00 AM during EDT).
How to Apply for a Weekend eVisa
Choose the Weekend/Holiday service. It has to be submitted and paid through ApplyEvisaVietnam.com, because the government portal has no weekend processing.
Full name, date of birth, passport number, and your Vietnam arrival date. Our team reviews the application before it is submitted.
Plain white background, face forward, clear scan of the passport photo page.
Screenshot it, then show it on your phone at airline check-in and at Vietnamese immigration. No printing, no cash, no fee at the airport.
Weekend Service vs. Government Portal
| Feature | ApplyEvisaVietnam.com | evisa.gov.vn |
|---|---|---|
| Saturday / Sunday / holiday processing | Yes, $230 | No, waits until the next business day |
| Cost | $230 weekend, $50 standard | $25 government fee only |
| Urgent options | 30 minutes to 1 day | None |
| Live support | 24/7 via WhatsApp and email | No direct support channel |
| Application checked for errors | Yes, before submission | No |
| Refund if the deadline is missed | 100% guaranteed | No refund under any circumstance |
If your trip is more than a week away, applying directly on the government portal is the cheapest route and perfectly valid. The weekend service is for when the calendar, not the budget, is the problem.
Weekend Checklist
- ☑ Passport valid at least 6 months beyond your planned exit date, open to the photo page
- ☑ Passport-style photo, white background, face forward, no glasses or hat
- ☑ Vietnam arrival date from your booking (the day you land, not the day you leave home)
- ☑ A hotel name in your first Vietnam destination (a confirmed booking is not required)
- ☑ An email address you can open on your phone, plus WhatsApp for support
- ☑ Visa or Mastercard enabled for international USD payments
- ☑ A separate application for every traveller, including children — a child cannot be attached to a parent's application
Don't submit a second application — two applications with slightly different details can delay both. Message us on WhatsApp with your reference code (format E260720USA...) and the email you registered on the government site, and use our SPEED UP service. Since you've already paid the $25 government fee, you only pay the speed-up fee. You can check your status any time at evisa.gov.vn/e-visa/search.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I really get a Vietnam eVisa on a Saturday or Sunday? +
Yes. The government portal does not process applications on weekends or public holidays, but our Weekend/Holiday service does. It costs $230 (government fee included) and delivers your approved eVisa before 18:00 Vietnam time the same day, provided your application is submitted and paid on our website before 15:00 Vietnam time.
What is the cutoff time for same-day weekend delivery? +
15:00 Vietnam time (GMT+7) on Saturday or Sunday. That is 3:00 AM Eastern or midnight Pacific in standard time (one hour later during daylight saving time). See the cutoff table above for other time zones.
What if I apply late on Saturday, after the cutoff? +
Apply anyway and message us on WhatsApp with your flight time. Applications received after the cutoff are generally delivered by 18:00 Vietnam time the following day, but we'll confirm what is realistic for your specific flight rather than promise something we can't deliver.
Is the weekend eVisa the same document as a regular eVisa? +
Yes. It is the same official Vietnamese government-issued eVisa, linked to your passport, and you can verify it at evisa.gov.vn/e-visa/search. Processing speed does not change its validity or scope.
Is there an extra weekend surcharge on top of the $230? +
No. $230 is the full price for single-entry, with the Vietnamese government fee included. Multiple-entry adds $25. Nothing further is payable at the airport.
I already applied on evisa.gov.vn. Should I apply again? +
No. Don't submit a second application. Message us on WhatsApp with your reference code and registered email and use our SPEED UP service — you only pay the speed-up fee because the $25 government fee is already paid.
What if my eVisa isn't delivered in the committed timeframe? +
We offer a 100% refund if we miss the committed timeframe for the service you selected.
