Is There Really a 2-Hour Vietnam Visa?
Not as an exact tier — the closest matches are the 1.5-hour ($185 USD) and 2.5-hour ($155 USD) options, sitting on either side of the 2-hour mark. Both deliver the same fully approved eVisa — not a separate "approval letter" — the same document Vietnam Immigration issues for any standard application, just processed with priority. It's a solid solution for business trips, layovers, or last-minute travel plans.
How Much Does It Cost?
All fees below are in USD, apply to a single-entry visa, and already include the government fee. Multiple-entry adds $25 to any tier.
| Processing time | Fee (USD) |
|---|---|
| Weekend / Public Holiday | $230 |
| 30–60 Minutes | $215 |
| 1.5 Hours | $185 |
| 2.5 Hours | $155 |
| 5 Hours | $125 |
| 1 Day | $110 |
| Normal 4–6 Days | $50 |

FAQ
Is there an exact 2-hour Vietnam visa tier? +
Not exactly -- the closest options are 1.5 hours ($185 USD) or 2.5 hours ($155 USD), depending on how much buffer you actually have.
Is the visa a full eVisa or just a letter? +
It's the same official, fully approved eVisa as any standard application, not a separate approval letter. There's nothing further to process once you land.
Does this work on weekends and holidays? +
Yes, through the dedicated Weekend/Holiday tier ($230 USD), since the government portal itself is closed on those days.
