Why Urgent Visas Matter for US, Australian, and Canadian Travelers
Vietnam is one of the top travel destinations for tourists, business professionals, and digital nomads. For most travelers from the United States, Australia, and Canada, entering Vietnam requires a visa. Standard eVisa processing takes 4-6 working days — but life doesn't always allow for that much lead time.
A last-minute business invitation to Hanoi, a family matter in Ho Chi Minh City, or a spontaneous trip across Southeast Asia doesn't leave room for a multi-day wait. Urgent eVisa processing can deliver approval in as little as 30-60 minutes.
This guide covers what US, Australian, and Canadian travelers need to know: real pricing, requirements, application steps, and honest answers to common questions.
Who Needs an Urgent Vietnam Visa?
- Business travelers attending last-minute conferences, negotiations, or meetings
- Tourists on tight schedules who want to maximize their trip without delays
- Students accepted into exchange programs with limited preparation time
- Travelers facing emergencies — family matters, urgent medical situations, or unexpected personal circumstances
Urgent Vietnam Visa Pricing (2026)
All fees below are in USD, apply to a single-entry visa, and already include the government fee. Multiple-entry adds $25 to any tier.
| Processing time | Fee (USD) |
|---|---|
| 30–60 Minutes | $215 |
| 1.5 Hours | $185 |
| 2.5 Hours | $155 |
| 5 Hours | $125 |
| 1 Day | $110 |
| 2 Days | $100 |
| 3 Days | $90 |
| Normal 4–6 Days | $50 |
Refund guarantee: if delivery misses your committed timeframe, the processing fee is refunded 100%. Compared to standard 4-6 day processing, urgent service is the option that closes a genuine time gap — not something to default to if you have more lead time than you think.

FAQ
Can I really get a Vietnam visa in 1 hour? +
Yes. With accurate documents and prompt payment, approval within the fastest 30-60 minute tier is very likely, backed by a 100% refund if your committed timeframe is missed.
Is the urgent visa available to US, Australian, and Canadian citizens? +
Yes. Citizens of all three countries are eligible for urgent Vietnam eVisa processing.
What if my visa is not delivered on time? +
If delivery misses your committed timeframe, the processing fee is refunded 100%. The government fee itself is generally non-refundable once submitted.
Can I extend my visa once I'm in Vietnam? +
ApplyEvisaVietnam.com processes eVisas only -- we don't handle in-country extensions directly with Vietnam Immigration. If you need more time, the two real options are a border run to a neighboring country for a fresh eVisa, or applying directly at the Vietnam Immigration Department in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.
Is the urgent visa accepted at all airports? +
It's accepted at all major international airports, including Hanoi (Noi Bai), Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat), and Da Nang, plus a growing network of other entry points.
