1-Hour Vietnam Visa for Irish Citizens

Q: Can a Vietnam visa really be obtained in an hour?

In most cases yes, provided the application is accurate and submitted before the daily cutoff. Approval still depends on the documents provided.

Forgot to apply? Application stuck "processing"? Denied at check-in? Here's exactly how Irish travelers get a valid Vietnam e-Visa in as little as an hour.

Quick answer

Irish citizens need a visa for any trip to Vietnam. If time is short, emergency processing can deliver an approved e-Visa in as little as 30–60 minutes for $215. This is the identical Vietnam Immigration review as standard processing — just prioritized in the queue, not a special or unofficial channel.

Why Irish travelers end up needing this

Forgot to apply for a Vietnam visa before departure

Discovered at check-in that no valid visa exists
An urgent, unplanned trip with no time for standard processing
